    David has spent over 13 years in the motor claims industry, with the last decade dedicated to the growth and operational management of Auto Claims Assist. As Operations Manager, he is responsible for the "front end" of the business, specifically, new business and the on-hire side of the claim. He ensures that from the moment a claim is received, the process moves efficiently so that customers are back on the road in a comparable vehicle without delay.

    Before moving into operations management, David built an extensive background as a Senior Recoveries Specialist. This experience in the claims process gives him a practical advantage in his role today. Knowing exactly how claims are scrutinised at the final settlement stage, he ensures the fundamentals are handled correctly at the very start, reducing the risk of friction or disputes later on.

    During his 10 years with the business, David has focused on driving operational improvements that directly benefit the customer. He works closely with his teams to refine day-to-day workflows, making sure the "on-hire" phase is as seamless as possible. He balances the practicalities of running a high-volume office with a focus on delivering a service that actually relieves the pressure for the driver making the claim.

    David reviews and approves content relating to the initial claims process, hire management, and operational standards. His reviews focus on ensuring that information for customers is practical and reflects the real-world steps of getting into a hire vehicle. This ensures that Auto Claims Assist provides clear, actionable guidance for drivers at the start of their claims journey.

    Outside of work, David is kept very busy by his wife, his three children, and his dog, Pippa. He finds that managing a lively household requires many of the same skills as his professional role: patience, quick decision-making, and the ability to keep multiple moving parts working together toward a common goal.
