If you were to contact your own insurance company and claim with them, instead of claiming with us, your own insurer would require you to pay your own policy excess to claim. Back on the road
Once your vehicle is repaired, we deliver your vehicle to you and collect the hire vehicle. If your vehicle is a total loss, the settlement is paid to you and you can use the hire vehicle for up to 7 additional days while you purchase your new vehicle.

If your vehicle is written off (a total loss), we negotiate with the third-party insurer for a fair pre-accident valuation. Once agreed, and the total loss settlement is paid to you, we continue to provide you with the replacement vehicle for an additional 7 days. This provides you with time to purchase your new vehicle, without any interruption to your mobility.
