Engineering handler
Taya Farnworth joined Auto Claims Assist in 2019.
She works across engineering bookings, salvage coordination, and vehicle movement, supporting clients through the vehicle damage side of their claim.
Her role involves coordinating engineer inspections and reviewing engineering reports as part of the technical process used to determine whether a vehicle is repairable or a total loss. She ensures valuations are supported by evidence and works directly with garages to monitor repairs and keep work progressing on time.
Alongside this, Taya also supports the New Claims function, handling incoming non-fault claims and helping clients get their claim moving at an early stage. She continues to support this area at weekends, giving her a broader view of the claims journey from first contact through to repair or settlement.
