Roma Hackett

Roma Hackett works within the recoveries team at Auto Claims Assist, focusing on bringing claims to a successful close.

She joined the business in August 2025 and is responsible for recovering outstanding costs from third-party insurers. This includes hire charges, uninsured losses, and recovery and storage costs, particularly where insurers dispute or challenge the amounts being claimed.

Roma’s background is in credit hire and recoveries, including experience with QDOS, where she supplied hire vehicles, monitored live hire claims, and handled recoveries. This work required careful management of claims to minimise deductions and a clear understanding of how insurers assess and challenge costs.

In her current role as a Recoveries Negotiator, Roma manages insurer negotiations and works to secure the best possible settlement on each case, keeping claims moving efficiently through to resolution.
