GTA Recoveries Manager
Katie Aaron joined Auto Claims Assist in 2022 and works within the recoveries team as GTA Recoveries Manager.
Her background is in recoveries and live hire claims, with experience gained at Keoghs Solicitors, working on behalf of insurers. In these roles, Katie managed disputes around hire periods, rates, and repair invoices, while also monitoring live hire claims. This included authorising repairs, arranging inspections, and sourcing parts to control costs and resolve issues efficiently.
That experience gave her a strong understanding of insurer decision-making and the practical challenges involved in settling complex claims.
At Auto Claims Assist, Katie is responsible for managing a caseload of recovery files, including complex and high-value cases. She oversees accurate payment logging, monitors insurer trends and issues, and takes ownership of challenging claims where escalation is required. Alongside her casework, Katie supports and manages staff within the department, answering queries, maintaining standards of case handling, and helping the team navigate more difficult cases.
