Ian Budsworth
Managing Director
Ian Budsworth joined Auto Claims Assist as Managing Director in 2025.
He brings experience spanning over three decades, having worked in the claims and insurance industry since the mid-1990s. His career has covered both defendant and claimant perspectives, giving him a rounded understanding of how claims operate commercially, operationally, and in practice.
Ian’s extensive background includes senior roles at Direct Line, Churchill, Glaisyers Solicitors, Odyssey Accident Management, and ACG.
Alongside his operational roles, Ian has also worked with The Credit Hire Organisation (CHO), supporting best practice, regulatory awareness, and collaboration across the sector. His involvement has evolved over time and now includes his current position on the CHO Supervisory Board.
At Auto Claims Assist, Ian is responsible for the overall performance of the business. He brings together strategy, operations, and delivery across all teams, with a focus on sustainable growth, strong operational foundations, and a consistently high standard of service for clients.
