Sophie Fox

Sophie Fox joined Auto Claims Assist in July 2025 and works within the recoveries and pre-litigation side of the business.

Her background in motor insurance, credit hire, and recoveries began in 2007, giving her a strong understanding of how claims progress and where challenges are most likely to arise. She has worked across insurer-facing roles, recoveries, technical credit hire work, and claimant litigation, which informs her approach to resolving complex cases.

Sophie’s experience includes time with RIAS in motor insurance, followed by senior roles within the credit hire sector at Hertz Accident Support and Walker Thomas Solicitors. Across these roles, she handled pre- and post-litigated recoveries, reviewed and improved technical processes, managed litigated claims through to conclusion, and supported other fee earners to ensure informed decision-making and strong outcomes.

In her current role within the Pre-Litigation Team, Sophie reviews unsettled claims, determines next steps, and supports clients where litigation is required. A key part of her role is recovering both hire charges and clients’ uninsured losses, with a focus on achieving full and timely recovery wherever possible.
